Dr. Angeline Yong, MD

Dr. Angeline Yong is a leading Singapore-based, globally-trained board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. She is the Medical Director at Angeline Yong Dermatology, specializing in cosmetic and procedural dermatology, skin cancers and hair restoration.
Dr. Yong completed her specialist training as a dermatologist at the Singapore’s National Skin Centre after graduating from the National University of Singapore. Dr. Yong is also a triple-fellowship trained dermatologic surgeon, training at the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, UK, Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and Seoul National University Hospital in Korea, across varied hair transplantation, cosmetic and procedural dermatology, including Mohs micrographic surgery.

Dr. Derek Jones is an internationally regarded physician and researcher on cosmetic injectables. Dr. Jones has been listed as a Southern California SuperDoctor (superdoctors.com) yearly for over a decade and is routinely listed as a top dermatologist by Los Angeles Magazine. He has been named as a top doctor and “industry favorite” by the Hollywood Reporter. He has been interviewed routinely by leading magazines such as Newsweek, Allure, and The New York Times and has been featured as an expert on many national television broadcasts.
Dr. Jones is not only ahead of the curve, he’s also “creating the curve”. An “expert’s expert”, Dr. Jones has been a Principal Investigator for over 40 research trials that have led to FDA approvals of the majority of cosmetic injectables available in the US market.
Dr. Jones is a widely published scientific author in cosmetic dermatology, authoring more than 175 research publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals. Notably, his publications have been referenced and cited over 5300 times by other scientific authors. He is an editor of the textbook Injectable Fillers: Principles and Practice (Wiley-Blackwell), Injectable Fillers: Facial Contouring and Sculpting (Wiley-Blackwell), and PRP and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine (Thieme). He has delivered hundreds of scholarly lectures internationally.
Board-certified in dermatology, Dr. Jones received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his dermatology residency at Columbia University in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. In 1999, he founded Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills. For 20 years, Dr. Jones was a volunteer Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, and more recently has been a Cosmetic Fellowship Director for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). He has held numerous leadership roles for ASDS and has served as assistant editor for the leading journal, Dermatologic Surgery.

Julia Garcia, PhD, MS

Julia Garcia, PhD, MS is a director in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research Strategy group at AbbVie, where she currently leads the Device portfolio for Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company. She is committed to placing patient experience at the forefront of research and development by engaging with patients to gain invaluable insights into their perspectives on treatment expectations and outcomes across a wide range of aesthetic indications for the face and body. Since 2014, her work has informed all phases of research for the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio. Her efforts span from understanding the burden of aesthetic conditions to implementing patient-reported outcomes that assess severity and satisfaction for regulatory approval and real-world evidence for marketed products. Moreover, she effectively communicates these insights to regulatory agencies and the scientific community through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of California San Diego, School of Medicine and an MS in Nutritional Sciences from the San Diego State University. Additionally, she has authored over 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 35+ original presentations in the field of aesthetics. She is dedicated to better understanding the unmet need and treatment benefit of aesthetic procedures to ultimately drive more meaningful and relevant outcomes for patients.

Dr. Shannon Humphrey MD, FRCPC

Dr. Shannon Humphrey is a recognized leader in cosmetic dermatology, known for her expertise in injectable treatments, including fillers, neuromodulators and biostimulators, and her ability to achieve natural, balanced results through a holistic patient-centered approach. With a philosophy that prioritizes refinement over overt correction, she is regarded as a trusted expert by patients, peers, and the aesthetic medicine industry.
An active educator and speaker, Dr. Humphrey has lectured at international dermatology and aesthetic medicine conferences, training physicians in advanced techniques and treatment planning. As a clinical researcher, Dr. Humphrey has served as Principal Investigator on multiple clinical trials that have contributed to the development of new aesthetic treatments. She is Chief Research Officer for MedSpa Partners, where she leads initiatives to advance research and innovation in the field. Dr. Humphrey is the Medical Director of Humphrey and Beleznay Cosmetic Dermatology in Vancouver and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia. She is actively involved in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Canadian Dermatology Association and the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada. Dr. Stephanie Manson Brown

Dr. Stephanie Manson Brown is Global Vice President, Head of Clinical Development and Scientific Innovation and Skincare R&D at Allergan Aesthetics, AbbVie. Her Clinical Development and Scientific Innovation team are responsible for global clinical trial development strategy for the Aesthetic Medicine portfolio, covering pharmaceuticals, and device; for developing innovative endpoint evaluation tools; bringing digital science and technology solutions to R&D programs; and driving inclusion in the generation of data that is representative of individual needs. Her Skincare R&D team are responsible for developing an innovative product pipeline supported by robust scientific data and with a focus on skin innovation. She is the co-founder and lead of the Science of Aging, a platform that brings aging science to aesthetic medicine. She was honored as a 2023 Healthcare Business Women’s (HBA) Luminary. Prior to joining industry, Stephanie trained as a Plastic Surgeon and is a board-certified surgeon (MRCS).

Vaishali D. Patel, Pharm.D., M.S.

Dr. Vaishali Patel graduated with a BS in Pharmacology from SUNY Stony Brook (Cum Laude) in 1996, and a Pharm.D. from University of Southern California in 2002. Following her Pharm.D., she completed a MS in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy at University of Southern California (USC) through a funded fellowship program. She currently leads the Aesthetics HEOR Strategy Team at AbbVie. She has twenty years of pharmaceutical industry experience in leading health outcomes and drug discovery research in various therapy areas including Aesthetics, Eyecare, Psychiatry, Urology, Cardiology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology. She has diverse experience leading teams responsible for reimbursed and cash portfolios that include drugs and devices. She is a subject matter expert in HEOR strategy development for product approval and reimbursement, economic modeling, retrospective database research, PRO development, and regulatory submissions. She has authored 25+ peer reviewed publications to date and has presented research at numerous US and international scientific congresses.
